Some people are just so... SELFISH.
If they really wanna protest, can't they do it without bothering other ppl's lives? I heard in KLFM one guy couldn't make it to the hospital when his wive is giving birth, and two LRT stations had to be shut down, and in Sg Besi hiway (where WE OURSELVES were stuck on the way to an open house like many other people) an ambulance couldn't get thru the incredibly heavy traffic (God knows who is the ill-fated patient in it) and we also had to cancel our plans to send Dilla to Puduraya when she's SUPPOSED to be BACK IN SCHOOL (MOZAC) by tomorrow or today because we're scared if anything bad would happen to her while waiting for the bus in addition to the bad traffic jam, obviously. Owh yeah, we did a u-turn after toll Sg Besi after being stuck for 1.5 hrs in the heavy jam and terlepas open house.
There, that's just the teeny-tiny little bit of those BERSIH demonstrators did to other ppl's lives.
It's just so annoying. IF YOU WANNA PROTEST DON'T BOTHER OUR LIVES!!!!

me too!! Kami nak pergi open house kat Sungai Buloh masa tu. Teruk gilerrr babas jam. Masa tu kul 2 lebih. Lepas tol Sg Besi, kami pun u turn jugak. Then, masuk serdang, seri kembangan, terus ke puchong, ikut subang, terus ke sungai buloh. Tension betul masa tu. Sanpai sg buloh dah dekat kul 5. Pas tu, takut jam lagi, kami tak balik terus, melepak kat opis hubby kat titiwangsa sampai kul 9 malam hehehe.
see, evidence, lagi 7 orang dah kena ngan diorang.

Haha... kesian stuck in jam. Tapi i think the blame should be on the police. They make unnecessary checkpoints which made 3 lanes into 1 lane. And around the city. The Bersih demo was suppose to be only in city centre from dataran merdeka to istana negara. why police nak block dari gombak / sg buloh / kl-seremban highway. I think for our country to be developped and to be first world country we need to be more matured, open and able to express our views. Peaceful marches and gatherings should be allowed. Police permit was applied by Berish but rejected. Why can't the police co-operate with the march and democratic right of rakyat to gather peacefully? Why is the police acting like perkakas UMNO? Police should be neutral and help the public. The police force itself is in-fighting. Judiciary system is rigged and is not independent. Ekonomi is stagnating. Leadership is lacking. We need to improve things by saying we do not want to tolerate any more nonsense and mismanagement. - faren

i'm concern on d public safety. demonstrations 'memberi ruang' to violence, eventho niat awal demonstrasi tu tampak baik, tapi how are u to know 100% of those people who joins the demo has the SAME niat? this BERSIH people has been distributing words around, asking EVERYONE to join them, i doubt they know EVERYONE in the demo dat day, do they??
what if one penyangak thought, 'hey gang this is our chance to get more money'?
