Siapa Yahudi? Siapa Orang Islam? :: Artikel MUST READ dari Utusan Malaysia
Nabi Isa (Jesus of Nazareth) ialah Yahudi.
Gertrude Elion mencipta ubat melawan leukemia. Baruch Blumberg mencipta vaksin Hepatitis B. Paul Ehrlich menemukan rawatan untuk siflis. Elie Metchnikoff menang Hadiah Nobel untuk penyakit berjangkit. Bernard Katz menang Hadiah Nobel kerana kajian mengenai transmisi neuromuskular.
Willem Kolff mencipta mesin dialisis (mencuci) buah pinggang.
Sejak 105 tahun, 14 juta Yahudi menang 15 dozen Hadiah Nobel, sementara tiga dimenangi oleh 1.4 bilion umat Islam.
Stanley Mezor mencipta mikrocip pertama. Leo Szilards membangunkan reaktor rangkaian nuklear pertama; Peter Schultz (kabel gentian optik); Charles Adler (lampu isyarat); Benno Strauss (besi tahan karat - stainless steel); Isador Kisee (sistem suara di pawagam); Emile Berliner (mikrofon untuk telefon) dan Charles Ginsburg (alat pita rakaman).
Saudagar jenama terkaya dunia juga dikuasai Yahudi iaitu Ralph Lauren (Polo), Levis Strauss (Levi's Jeans), Howard Schultz (Starbuck's), Sergey Brin (Google), Michael Dell (Dell Computers), Larry Ellison (Oracle), Donna Karan (DKNY), Irv Robbins (Baskin & Robbins) dan Bill Rossenberg (Dunkin Donuts).
Richard Levin, presiden universiti tersohor Yale Universiti ialah seorang Yahudi. Henry Kissinger, Joseph Lieberman dan Madeleine Albright (bekas-bekas Setiausaha Negara AS); Alan Greenspan (bekas pengerusi Rizab Persekutuan AS di bawah Reagan, Bush, Clinton dan Bush); Maxim Litvinov (bekas Menteri Luar Soviet Union); David Marshal (bekas Ketua Menteri pertama Singapura); Isaac Isaacs (bekas Gabenor Jeneral Australia); Benjamin Disraeli (negarawan dan penulis Britian); Yevgeny Primkov (bekas Perdana Menteri Rusia dan bekas jeneral KGB); Jorge Sampaio (bekas Presiden Portugal); Herb Gray (bekas Timbalan Perdana Menteri Kanada); Pierre Mendes (Perdana Menteri ke-143 Perancis); Michael Howard (bekas Setiausaha Negara British); Bruno Kreisky (bekas Canselor Austria) dan Robert Rubin (bekas Setiausaha Perbendaharaan AS).
Dalam dunia media, orang Yahudi yang terkemuka ialah Wolf Blitzer (CNN); Barbara Walters (ABC News); Eugene Meyer (Washington Post); Henry Grunwald (Ketua Editor Time); Katherine Graham (penerbit The Washington Post); Joseph Lelyyeld (Editor Eksekutif, The New York Times) dan Max Frankel (The New York Times).
Walter Annenberg menderma untuk membina ratusan perpustakaan berjumlah AS$2 bilion.
Di Olimpik, Mark Spitz membolot tujuh pingat emas. Lenny Krayzelburg ialah pemegang tiga kali pingat emas Olimpik. Spitz Krayzelburg dan Boris Becker adalah Yahudi.
Tahukah anda bahawa pelakon pujaan Harrison Ford, George Burns, Tony Curtis, Charles Bronson, Sandra Bullock, Billy Cystal, Woody Allen, Paul Newman, Peter Sellers, Dustin Hoffman, Michael Douglas, Ben Kingsley, Kirk Douglas, Willian Shatner, Jerry Lewis dan Peter Falk semuanya Yahudi?
Tambahan lagi, Hollywood sendiri diwujudkan oleh orang Yahudi. Antara pengarah dan penerbit, Steven Spielberg, Mel Brooks, Oliver Stone, Aaron Spelling (Beverly Hills 90210), Neil Simon (The Odd Couple), Andrew Vaina (Rambo 1- 2-3), Michael Man (Starsky and Hutch), Milos Forman (One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest), Douglas Fairbanks (The Thief Of Baghdad) and Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters) - semuanya adalah Yahudi.
Mempengaruhi
Jawapannya: Pendidikan, pelajaran, ilmu.
Mengapa umat Islam terlalu lemah?
Amerika sahaja, menghasilkan barangan dan perkhidmatan bernilai AS$12 trilion, China AS$8 trilion, Jepun AS$3.8 trilion dan Jerman AS$2.4 trilion.

Ketidak-relevan-an komen-Lah
For those who watch d TV3 news just now u must've watched Pak Lah commenting on Tun's post in his blog. After watching, I read the post and to my surprise it's not relevant at all! Lain yg Tun cakap, lain yang dia komen. Lain yg Muhyiddin cakap, lain yg dia quote. Hmm... Pak Lah demam kot ni? Ke Pak Lah tak baca pun, main dengaq ja apa orang lain cakap? Naper ni Pak Lah, kan dah nak step down, cool la. Take it slow, like me, i'm trying to learn how take things slowly ni. Jangan gopoh. I've learnt a good lesson gopohness brings me down, so u should too.

Akankah aku ditahan ISA?
Akan kah? Tapi ini bukan kata-kata aku... aku hanya petik, merasakan tanggungjawabku untuk menyebarkan kebenaran tentang situasi sebenar politik negara kita. jadi... aku copy paste kata-kata seorang yang sangat aku sanjungi dari kecil saat aku tatau apa-apa tentang politik kecuali aku tau bapak aku pengerusi tetap UMNO kampung aku, hinggalah aku menjadi salah seorang scholar UMNO selepas berkahwin dengan anak orang kuat UMNO Sabah.
here goes... from www.chedet.com
MAJLIS TERTINGGI
2. Difahamkan bahasa yang digunakan sesetengah ahli agak keras. Dato Seri Rafidah Aziz turut membangkitkan peranan yang dimainkan menantu Abdullah, Khairy Jamaluddin dan anak beliau, Kamaluddin.
17. Begitulah Majlis Tertinggi yang tidakpun lagi tinggi.

To me it's nuthing interesting AT ALL
To me it should've been a debate between Anwar-Che Det-Pak Lah
To me our political state is currently nuthing but haru biru n nonsense

the truth, the time and huephoria....
The truth is, time allocation for blogging is almost zero.
The truth is I'm trying to build my life, my career, my family.
The truth is i need all d time I haf to make money.
The truth is i dun know if i can handle pressure, even a little bit, anymore.
Huephoria ended almost a week. I so wanted to type and blog about it, about all d experience, the true colors I saw in a lot of people, the pressure, the happy times, the good time, the bad time, the ugly time... how people didnt care about the show until Dato' Badlisham head of MDEC suddenly confirmed at the very last minute that he's gonna show up and launch the graduation show of my beloved [most, some hated] students... how we got screwed, and also how we were personally thanked by our bosses, shook our hands and got a day off.... all the details of those experiences, sorry I cant share it with u guys anymore cus... i simply haf NO TIME to sit down and type!
Jazz has been blooming well, her teacher's and mother's day pix is still not blogged, then came her sports day where she got first and her Jupiter sport's house got first too, pictures are still in my camera, havent been imported into the pc even. Kyra... my sweet little girl has begin to utter understandable words and phrases, she loves birds and fishes, where I could just drive with her on my lap around Cyberjaya or Putrajaya to find her Bi-Bird Ak-Ak [burung gagak] or Bi-Bird Chip Chip [any smaller singing birds] and I also bought the girls a Siamese-Fighter ikan laga and Crown-Tail ikan laga and she goes tshhh tssshhhh [fissshhh] all day yesterday :)
Political? I'm tired of it. Malaysia is so huru-hara. Malaysia is in the wrong hands. Malaysia is no longer the peaceful country she once was. Malaysia... wat's happening to u? The leaders are backstabbing each other. Each one is trying to take the other out. I am very very sure, the Father-Figure who has build this country till she became what she was before Pak Lah ascend the throne, is crying in his heart. I feel you Tun... I feel u... :o(
Friends? I do not know If I haf any soulmates. But some of my friends are drifting far, but those newly made, I still need be careful with them. I still need to watch my steps, for backstabbers are everywhere. People whom u think u can rely on might be the very one who's bringing u down. And people who were once close to u might have their own agenda which they also would have no time to listen to u anymore. Well... wutever it is I am still blessed if ever there are still friends who really are friends. Maybe its just me who can't see that they really care because.... I do not have the like to really ponder, perhaps?

Dr Mahathir Mohamad: Oil Price
SILA BACA KALAU KAU RAKYAT MALAYSIA.
Taken from ::
Dr Mahathir Mohamad: Oil Price
The price of crude oil has increased by 400 percent in the last three years. It follows that the price of products must increase, sooner or later. In other countries petrol prices had already increased. In the United Kingdom one litre of petrol sells for more than one pound sterling or RM7. In the United States it is about RM5.
That the price in neighbouring countries has gone up is shown by the rush to fill up by Thai and to a lesser extent Singapore vehicles.
The Government has now announced an increase in petrol price by 78 sen to RM2.70 per litre, an increase of more than 40 per cent.
I may be mistaken but there seems to be less vehicles on the road today. But obviously that is not all that will happen. All other consumer goods, services and luxury goods would increase in price.
The cost of living must go up. Put another way there will be inflation and the standard of living will go down.
Obviously our increase in petrol price is far less than in the United Kingdom or the United States. But our per capita income is about one-third of theirs. In purchasing power terms our increase is more than in the UK or the US.
The increase hurts but the pain is greater not just because of the increase percentage-wise is higher than in developed countries but because of the manner the increase is made.
A few days ago the Government decided to ban sale of petrol to foreign cars. It flipped. Now foreign cars can buy again. Flopped.
Knowing that in a few days it was going to raise the price and foreigners would be allowed to buy, why cannot the Government just wait instead of banning and unbanning.
But be that as it may what could the Government have done to lessen the burden on the people that results from the increase in petrol price.
In the first place the Government should not have floated the Ringgit. A floating rate creates uncertainties and we cannot gain anything from the strengthened Ringgit. Certainly the people have not exprienced any increase in their purchasing power because of the appreciation in the exchange rate between the US Dollar and the Ringgit.
Actually the Ringgit has increased by about 80 sen (from RM3.80 to RM3.08 to 1 US Dollar) per US Dollar, i.e. by more than 20 per cent. Had the Government retained the fixed rate system and increased the value of the Ringgit, say 10 per cent at a time, the cost of imports, in Ringgit terms can be monitored and reduced by 10 per cent. At 20 per cent appreciation the cost of imports should decrease by 20 per cent. But we know the prices of imported goods or services have not decreased at all. This means we are paying 20 per cent higher for our imports including the raw material and components for our industries.
Since oil prices are fixed in US Dollar, the increase in US Dollar prices of oil should also be mitigated by 20 per cent in Malaysian Ringgit.
But the Government wants to please the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank and decided to float the Ringgit. As a result the strengthening of the Ringgit merely increased our cost of exports without giving our people the benefit of lower cost of imports.
This is not wisdom after the event. I had actually told a Government Minister not to float the Ringgit three years ago. But of course I am not an expert, certainly I know little about the international financial regimes.
I believe the people expect the increase of petrol price. But what they are angry about is the quantum and the suddenness. The Prime Minister was hinting at August but suddenly it came two months earlier, just after the ban on sale of petrol to foreigners.
If the increase had been more gradual, the people would not feel it so much. But of course this means that the Government would have to subsidise, though to a decreasing extent.
Can the Government subsidise? I am the “adviser” to Petronas but I know very little about it beyond what is published in its accounts. What I do know may not be very accurate but should be sufficient for me to draw certain conclusions.
Roughly Malaysia produces 650,000 barrels of crude per day. We consume 400,000 barrels leaving 250,000 barrels to be exported.
Three years ago the selling price of crude was about USD30 per barrel. Today it is USD130 – an increase of USD100. There is hardly any increase in the production cost so that the extra USD100 can be considered as pure profit.
Our 250,000 barrels of export should earn us 250,000 x 100 x 365 x 3 = RM27,375,000,000 (twenty seven billion Ringgit).
But Petronas made a profit of well over RM70 billion, all of which belong to the Government.
By all accounts the Government is flushed with money.
But besides petrol the prices of palm oil, rubber and tin have also increased by about 400 per cent. Plantation companies and banks now earn as much as RM3 billion in profits each. Taxes paid by them must have also increased greatly.
I feel sure that maintaining the subsidy and gradually decreasing it would not hurt the Government finances.
In the medium term ways and means must be found to reduce wasteful consumption and increase income. We may not be able to fix the minimum wage at a high level but certainly we can improve the minimum wage.
Actually our wages are high compared to some of our neighbours. The investors who come here are attracted not by cheap labour but by other factors, among which is the attitude of the Government towards the business community and the investors in particular.
From what I hear business friendliness is wanting in the present Government – so much so that even Malaysians are investing in other countries. There are rumblings about political affiliations influencing decisions. Generally Government politicians are said to be arrogant.
Malaysia is short of manpower. The labour intensive industries are not benefiting Malaysians. Foreign workers are remitting huge sums of money home.
The industrial policy must change so that high tech is promoted in order to give Malaysians higher wages to cope with rising costs of living.
The world is facing economic turmoil due to the depreciation of the US Dollar, the sub-prime loan crisis, rising oil and raw material prices, food shortages and the continued activities of the greedy hedge funds. The possibility of a US recession is real. In a way the US is already in recession. The world economy will be dragged down by it.
Malaysia will be affected by all these problems. I wonder whether the Government is prepared for this.
We cannot avoid all the negative effects but there must be ways to mitigate against them and to lessen the burden that must be borne by all Malaysians. I am sure the Government will not just pass all these problems to the people as the review of oil prices every month seem to suggest.

What everyone will be blogging and chatting about.... the BIG P&E
SICK! This country is ran by an IDIOT!
There's so many thinmgs i wanna say but i'm just too pissed off to even write about it. Last week i remember hearing Najb said not to believe in rumors petrol prices are going up, suddenly this week, RM0.78 higher! WTF??!
Not to forget ELECTRICITY BILLS! Why? Why suddenly, EVRERYTHING IS going up? this shows HOW INEFFICENT the current gomen is. *sigh* I bet ALL PRICES will go up as well, beras dah naik, minyak masak pun naik, gula for sure menyusul, ayam, daging, ikan..... NAK MAKAN APA KITA NI END OF D DAY?
Dia kurang bijak. atau patutkanh aku guna *TIDAK BIJAK* terus? Dia tidak pandai mengatur strategi. Dia tidak tahu bagaimana BERMAIN dengan psikologi. DIa ekstrem!
GAJI tak seberapa, COST OF LIVING FREAKING HIGH. Terpaksalah orang low and middle class macam kami BEKERJA MACAM MACAI untuk menampung kehidupan. TIBA TIBA NAK NAIKKAN HARGA KEMUDAHAN ASAS yang PASTI DIIKUTI DENGAN BARANGAN KEPERLUAN HARIAN. AKU MARAH!!
*sigh* bodola ko nih palahap. bodoh sangat. benci aku kat kau. BENCI!

Hak Istimewa
Apa istimewanya dia sehingga menerima a *warm welcome* dari seorang presiden?

Things that were on d news.... tonite.
Tun M quits UMNO. I heard from Hubby he read utusanonline then it got into news [of course it would, ngeh]. Well Tun M has ALL D RIGHT to be angry, and somehow i dunno why i am very very happy with this move although i dun know what the consequences would be.
There was an earthquake. Before it got into the news I ACTUALLY FELT IT. and i told Hubby bout it but he wouldn't believe me he gave me *that look*. Then it got into d news. i missed to see where was d center of the EQ cus I was bz laughing and mocking Azam. haha. I was sitting very quietly with my Pearls and Swarovski... I was actually angry cus the table was *moving* and I can't get my thread into the bracelet [i'm putting price tags] but then i went on and on and makin kuat, so i was like... "Err... Abah, can't u feel it? [he was walking around d house doing his part of the chores~laundry] and he gave me *the look* and i remember telling him "Try watching some news somewhere" and heh, apparently aku belum buang tebiat ;agi, memang ada EQ pun. hmmm gotta find out where and how bad, and if any tsunami warning issued.

Under his reign....
i'd rather dream a thousand of Tun's dream, knowing one day it'll be achieve.
Proof? U really want me to list it? u'll say "ah how cliche..." but...
- Proton Saga (it may not be a beamer, but it's Malaysian)
- Penang Bridge (if u recall, Penang Bridge project really pushed Malaysian technological capabilities to the limit at dat time)
- KLCC (need i say more?)
- Sepang F1 Circuit (if this didn't exist, would even dream to have Schumacher, Raikonen and d gang step their feet on Malaysia's sand?)
- KL Tower
- KLIA being the WORLD's BEST AIRPORT
- Cyberjaya ~ which development has slowed down when Tun stepped down
- the REAL angkasawan programme before it got mengarut (how many of u know that the idea and programme actually began in Tun's era?)
All these, DUN DENY IT, have put Malaysia on the map. though the projects have been mocked and many are calling Malaysia a Boleh-Land, but IT DID BOOST THE MALAYSIAN ECONOMICS. it did brought us MONEY, tourists came pouring in, and most important thing of all, it builds our SELF-ESTEEM.
What did the current PM do? meneruskan apa yang ada? North wutever corridor? how r u gonna teruskan dat corridor project when only one out of all the involved states is under your ruling??? Perangi rasuah? So... erm... now u're saying the gomen is 100% free of rasuah? ke more like revealing the bangkai gajah? Halal hub? how far along is that project coming thru?
i'm not denying that he does have a good plan in his hand, but... all are vaguely realised. kejayaannya kabur dan samar....
I'd rather dream a thousand of Tun's dream....
Please mend this hamba-rakyat's broken heart. Wanna how deep the pain is? I havent got d time to update this blog with pix of my two girls' bday, but am rambling on this political thing over and over again for the past two days. For a mother, how deep a cut is that?

Q&A: Khairy to blame for BN's electoral defeat
Mar 9, 08 9:05pm
I think his son-in-law played a big role (in the defeat). This young man who has no achievements before but apparently the PM listens to him. said Mahathir at a press conference.
Are you surprised by the results?
Mahathir: I think it’s shocking. Although I expected BN to lose but I did not think that they lost five states.
I'm sorry that I made the wrong choice in Pak Lah. I never expected a PM to reverse all the policies of the government. So I think the people on the whole must have been very angry. All the three communities, the Chinese, the Malays and the Indians, have reacted.
Will Tun pressure Pak Lah to resign?
I think he should accept responsibility for this. Just as in 2004, the huge majority, the huge victory was purportedly due to him 100 percent. Now he should accept 100 percent of the responsibility.
What do you mean by taking responsibility?
He has destroyed Umno, destroyed BN. And he has to be responsible for this terrible defeat.
If he doesn't want to take responsibility, do you think that Umno will do something to make him go?
I think Umno people on the ground are fearful of this man as they have never been before. During my time they would challenge me. Here I was not allowed to speak. I was given invitations to give talk to Umno members but these were withdrawn. They say that the police told them to withdraw it.
When you say ‘step down’, do you mean (from) Umno or PM?
I think he should (step down). The Japanese would have performed ‘hara-kiri’. I think that Najib (Razak) has done very well. He has scored an amazing victory, more than the 2004 elections.
What do you think led to this defeat?
I think his son-in-law (Khairy Jamaluddin) played a big role. This young man who has no achievements before but apparently the PM listens to him more rather than the police, the special branch and the armed forces, who are closer to the ground. They were so taken up with their own newspaper reports that they couldn't hear anything else. They dismissed everything they didn't like.
Do you think the timing of the election was a miscalculation?
It can be called a miscalculation but I doubt if they had waited another year, the results would have been any different.
What were the issues which led to the loss of the states?
Many issues led to the pent-up feelings of the citizens of which despite the economic growth, the people aren't feeling anything. They feel the rise in the cost of living a big factor. They also see that this government is run by one family. When family takes precedence over cabinet, over government, then people will be against it.
Do you think this damage is permanent for BN?
Everything can be reversed if you do things properly. They have been so arrogant that they have suppressed any opinions they don't like and believe in their own reports which are not consistent with what is really happening in the country.
With the opposition making so much inroads in Malaysia, what do you think will happen?
Well, there will be instability for some time. If the opposition is good, they should be able to remedy the situation.
Do you think that Anwar Ibrahim is still relevant?
I think he is relevant but he is not going to become the prime minister of this country.
If you were in Pak Lah's shoes, would you be in a hurry to form the government?
I would take responsibility. If the people want me to resign, I would resign.
After this setback, do you think that Barisan has any hope to remedy this situation?
There is hope. But whether the leaders have the will to repair BN is another question.
Who should succeed Pak Lah?
Najib won by 26,000 votes and this is much more than in 2004 when the BN was very, very popular. On the other hand, Pak Lah - who had a majority of 18,000 before - only has a majority of 11,000 now. The fact is that he lost a number of votes. And there are not many people who have improved (their majority) since 2004.
Yes, his son-in-law won but he only won by a small majority, smaller than previously. He was also in a safe seat.
How to cure Umno?
The person responsible should retreat.
If the Malays had not voted for opposition this would not have happened. Why did the Umno supporters vote for opposition this time?
They feel their situation is under pressure. Inflation is high. Their lives are on the line. The people know that you can say that there is 6 percent growth but where is the 6 percent on their body? They are having to spend more money.
I've said this to Malaysiakini. When you say 6 percent, it is an average. This can be achieved by one person having a very high percentage but the rest have nothing. You can't have this sort of figures and expect people to vote for you.
The intelligent people would know that this is not correct. Those that don't understand all these figures, rather be guided by what is actually happening to them. What is happening to them is the higher cost of living and a lowering of their standard of living.
Going back to the 1969 elections, after the Alliance had lost, you were one of the main agitators for the prime minister (Tunku Abdul Rahman) to transfer his powers to his deputy (Tun Abdul Razak)...
I am in a dilemma as I'm an Umno member.
Are you the agitator again?
I will voice out my opinion. If people ask, I will give my opinion. And my opinion in this matter is that the person responsible should step down.
Looking at the current BN line-up, do you think that the BN government can manage the economy?
No, I don't think they can manage. Even when they have full force and tons of money at their disposal they have not done anything.
Why?
You have to ask the state leaders.
Penang has fallen to DAP, how do you think this will affect the Malays?
It's not just about Penang. If we want to correct that, we have got Malay leaders, we've got a Malay government and the citizens who are Malay must know how to overcome their problems.
What can veterans like Tengku Razaleigh (Hamzah) do to help Umno at this juncture?
They can give ideas.
Is it to revolt and cause Pak Lah to resign?
I am not talking about a rebellion but there must be pressure. And if that pressure is ignored by Pak Lah, then this would turn the matter into a heated confrontation.
Do you think that the opposition success is attributed to Anwar?
I don't think it is so. This is more of something against BN than strong support for the opposition.
They (voters) have no choice. If you don't vote BN, who do you vote for? There are only two candidates. So you vote for the opposition or you don't vote at all. Either way, the BN was going to lose a lot of support.
People say that Umno is still afraid of Pak Lah. So how can they pressure Pak Lah to step down?
I'm sure that there are some brave members out there.
Are there any alternatives for Pak Lah other than to resign?
I don't see any other alternative. The man that is 100 percent responsible has to show that he is responsible.
Some people were saying if BN's two-thirds majority is denied, a repeat of May 13 would take place. Why won't it happen now?
No I don't think it would happen. In the first place, the police have been very careful, telling people no demonstration and no parades.
In 1969, the police gave permission for the opposition to hold a victory parade. And they went to Kampung Baru and started insulting the people there, which caused a reaction. This ended up as a riot. If the police remain strong on these demonstrations and victory parades, I don't think there will be any problems.
Is it time to end racial politics?
I'm going to tell you this (rejection of BN) involves all the races. It's not as if the Chinese reject BN or all the Indians reject BN. Here, you see Chinese, Indian and Malay reject BN except for Sabah and Sarawak.
Umno has retained more seats compared to the other component parties like MIC and MCA. Will they pressure Pak Lah to step down?
That depends on them to whether to apply pressure or not but the Barisan Nasional concept is still relevant. If there is no (MIC chief S) Samy Vellu, then find another Vellu.
Can you comment on Zam (Zainuddin Maidin)?
He won or lost? Oh, he lost. Well, the way he was campaigning was really funny, telling people to look at his face and how it doesn't change. But I think that a face that doesn't change can be very boring. Sometimes you must laugh, sometimes you must cry.
He was telling everybody "Ini muka tak bertukar, tak bertukar". Who is interested in his ‘wajar’? If he was Britney Spears, then….
If you had suffered the same defeat, would you have resigned too?
Yes, I would resign if that is the wish of the people. I've always abided by the wish of the people, so much so that people who were against me were brought back into the cabinet, and that includes Pak Lah, Syed Hamid (Syed Albar), Rais Yatim and (Abdul) Kadir Sheikh Fadzil. All these (leaders) were against me.
But when Pak Lah was elected vice-president, I cannot (not appoint him) as he was wanted by Umno. As such I appointed him back into the cabinet.
But you did not resign in 1999?
I did not because we won two-thirds. We won with full Chinese support. Yes, we lost Terengganu and Kelantan but we have always lost Kelantan and Terengganu was for very specific reasons.
Did BN lose because too many people like Samy Vellu had hung on to power too long?
I think that Samy Vellu played a big part in the defeat. When he was in BN, he doesn't allow any of the MIC people to come up to his level. If they come up (to be) deputy or vice-president, he will knock them down and even expel them from the party.
And he wouldn't allow any other Indian party to join BN. (MG) Pandithan tried to join, begged me to allow him and I wanted to agree but we have this consensus in BN that if one party doesn't agree we cannot accept them.
Are you surprised by (ISA detainee) M Manoharan's victory?
This has happened before in 1959 or is it 1964, when PAS used to go from village to village carrying the candidate's shoes and he won.
What can you say about the media’s - especially the mainstream ones' - role in this campaign? Do you think that there should be changes there?
There should be changes. They should report what actually happens and make a proper analysis. Before, they were able to feed back to me what was happening on the ground. Maybe, when they talk about races and things like that, I would have to clamp down on them, which I did in 1987.
Should all the bosses of the newspapers resign too?
They have their constraints. Some of them are my friends and supporters too and they apologise say that they can't help. "It's all this Kali. This Kali," they tell me.
Has Umno become irrelevant?
For the moment, yes. It's not always so. If Umno serves the country well, and looks after all the different races, then Umno will be relevant again.
What is your comment on the young BN candidates losing?
There is this rumour that some of these candidates are Khairy's and that he wants to be prime minister.
Do you think that other BN component leaders should resign too?
I think that one component leader has already been knocked out. As for Ong Ka Ting, it's up to him. This is a very bad defeat for him and MCA and it's never been this bad before.
Everyone says that PAS and DAP cannot work together but if they don't in Selangor and Perak, they can't form state government. What is your take on this?
If they work together they can form state government. If not, then representatives of Umno - if there are many - can form a minority government. But it will be a shaky government.
Are you sad with the results?
Yes, I am although I had hoped that a message would be sent to the government.
Will you return to active politics?
I won't return to active politics but if they want advice, I can give them. How can I return when once I stepped down they treated me like a pariah?
Politic Talks Everywhere ~ the Tsunami GE Aftermath
As predicted the current political scene is the hottest topic in d office this morning. Even yg dulu kononnya tak kesah bout politic is talking.
Like ... WAH! or... Sudah terhantuk baru terngadah?
even the 'said' non-voters are in shock. all i can say (dalam hati, malas nak amik port kononnya) "hmmm.... look what u've done!" Some are saying "i dunno how is this new selangor gomen would work" and also heard "jom pindah kajang, kubu BN" huhu... baru nak terpk ke???
lets wait n see. wait n see....!!!!
Akan turunkan harga minyak?
Akan mansuhkan yuran sekolah?
Akan tumbuhkah skolah cina bak cendawan selepas hujan?
Akan hapuskan bayaran tol?
Akan turunkah harga barangan runcit?
IS THIS REALLY WHAT U WANT?!
I WANT TUN BACK. I'M CRYING MY HEART OUT. I WANT MALAYSIA TO HAVE A MENTOR, JUST LIKE SINGAPORE AND LET THE MENTOR BE TUN!
some fact i havent cerita before. My cousin 2nd Johan (Semenyih) n Datuk Fathil (bangi) are among tose who bertanding, Johan menang Fathil kalah. But err... i dun really know them though.
March 09, 2008
Tun, did I ever express that I missed you? [I think I did, so many times!]
Am gonna blog on the blast the former PM set on Pak Lah. Somehow, eventho it does sounds harsh, but the facts are in tact. I really want Tun back in the picture, but nuthing can be done about that, after all he prolly need a good rest. But will someone PLEASE have his attitude and vision? Will Mukhriz be able to do that? If the pressure continues for Pak Lah to step down, ever wonder who should be his successor? (which honestly, I know for a fact Pak Lah will definitely fight for his seat, so dream on la he will step down).
Muhasabah diri is what the leadership of UMNO needs now. It's true, UMNO is almost being destroyed. The Malays are no more united, many are sour-grape pentingkan diri sendiri people. Nak menjaga kepentingan, duit and nama. And look at what they have done to d country, even to themselves. Mana nama mereka sekarang?? Don't u Malays feel threatened now? Do u realize what have u done to yourselves? Your future? Your next generation? Ever wonder that the term 'Takkan Melayu Hilang di Dunia' is still relevant? THINK!

Abdullah Must Take Full Responsibility For Defeat, Says Dr M
KUALA LUMPUR, March 9 (Bernama) -- Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Sunday his successor, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, must take full responsibility for the major defeat suffered by Barisan Nasional (BN) in the just-concluded general election.
"He should accept responsibility for this, just as in 2004 the huge victory was reportedly due to him, 100 per cent, and that was said by the then secretary-general of Umno.
"But now also he should accept 100 per cent responsibility. He has destroyed Umno, he has destroyed BN, and he should be responsible of this massive defeat," he told a news conference held hours after the polls results were announced here.
The former prime minister said it was shocking that the BN had been trounced in five states and the federal territory due to the same signal sent by all the three major races -- Malay, Chinese and Indian.
To a question on whether the BN had miscalculated in holding the general election early, Tun Dr Mahathir said he doubted that postponing it another year would make any difference in terms of results, as "the people's dissatisfaction against Abdullah's administration was already boiling over."
"Four years after the last election, he has done so many things which were wrong but these people (media) keep on reporting how the people loved him," he said.
Issues leading to the dissatisfaction against the government included the perception that despite high figures on economic growth announced by the government as well as the launch of development corridors, the people on the ground did not feel anything (its benefits).
"They have observed that this government is run by one family for the family. As long as you have that kind of arrangement where family takes precedence over Cabinet, over the government itself, I think people would want to go against them," he said.
Answering another question, he said it was up to Umno to decide on Abdullah's successor should the latter step down, or probably Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak could take over.
"Datuk Seri Najib has scored an amazing victory, more than the 2004 result when it was the best year for BN. His majority increased while Abdullah's decreased quite significantly," he said.
Dr Mahathir said a government formed with a simple majority was a weak government, especially in a multi-racial country which could cause instability, among others, and later affect investors' confidence.
He, however, said there was hope yet for the BN to rectify the damage, provided it took note of the signal sent by the people.
To another question, Dr Mahathir said he believed it would be difficult for Abdullah to step down voluntarily as, until now, Abdullah still did not comprehend the ramifications of the losses and put the blame of the defeat on the people instead.
Expressing his sadness over the losses, the former premier said he did not expect BN to lose to such an extent.
On the resurgence of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in this election, Dr Mahathir said he believed that Anwar was still "relevant" but he would never become the prime minister of this country.
Asked about the possibility of the Opposition keeping their promises as stated in their manifestos, he said: "They simply made such promises as they did not think that they would form the government but I doubt they could deliver their promises when they gained control of five states."
Dr Mahathir said he would countinue to play his role as a citizen by voicing out his opinion as well as sharing them if needed.
"I don't want any official title, senior minister or advisor, but if they come to me and ask my advice, I'm willing to share it for the benefit of the country," he said.
On his son Datuk Mukhriz's victory in the Jerlun parliamentary constituency, he said it was just a normal success, albeit with a bigger majority.

PRU12 :: The Fresh Minds Have Spoken
Been following the keputusan pilihanraya since 7pm till now 4.30am, sambil iron my piles of laundry which has accumulated over the 3 weeks of bz-ness in my new working place (not-so-new-nemore). Am so damn tired but I cant help to express a bit of feelings about this PRU12.
Need not for me to mention, itsa huge turnover for Malaysia, on the whole and to all parties specifically. (read :: as many of u might have noticed, I am penyokong tegar UMNO and even a scholar of UMNO during my Adv Diploma years)
I hope what's happening now, which is definitely a huge blow to BN and UMNO, would be taken seriously by the party. The existence of new fresh minds in this year's GE, which has grown from the era of the new millenium, is prolly the biggest factor to what is happening now. These new fresh minds grew in a new decade/era of electronic and new media, information is being passed so fast that damage could be done in split seconds. The new generation are also aware that they need new fresh minds to hear their voices. And many are tired of the foul issues that has been lingering, smells like nasik basi. Being around the community i'm in at work nowadays, I realize there are many non-voters and people who vote for anybody other than the ruling party just to 'check' the ruling party, so that they realize, many are tired with those foul issues (i dun think i hafto elaborate nething here). I really hope the party would buckle-up after this, to make huge differences and to repair whatever damages they had caused in the pass. Let this 2008 GE be a good turning point to UMNO n BN, also may the anggota-parti realize over-confidence kills. And hopefully, UMNO people practices their religion well and live a better lifestyle, which I'm sorry to say, mungkin sebab utama ramai yg memandang serong.
2/3 majority has been denied (as far as I'm currently concern). It's not gonna be easy for the new gomen to make decisions, mewartakan akta, so on and so forth. I'm gonna repeat myself, this is a good time for a CHANGE! (mungkin ramai wanita/puteri pasni patut pakai tudung betul-betul? Sila jangan saman saya, saya cakap secara general, no one in specific.)
Terasa macam nak aktif dalam politik plak camnih....!

Akhirnya Parlimen dah bubar
Betulla kot Pak Lah suka no 13... :op~
Anyways... hmm... like I said in prev post my interest in political scene dah agak pudar. But I still know my responsibility as a negarawan.
Yang tak bestnya politik ni caci-mencaci dan cerca-mencercanya. kutuk-mengutuk melampaui batas pilitk, malah menerjah peribadi seseorang! macam dah lupa pulak nak jaga maruah diri sebab terlalu asyik menuduh dan mencerca orang. yang sedihnya, Melayulah yang berperangai macam tu. apa tak malu ke?
I know i've heard lagu UMNO yg ditukar lirik in one persembahan during an anti-UMNO protest. but I hope, UMNO people do not do all those manic things they say in the lyrics. I hope the original lyrics dihayati, demi maruah UMNO dan orang-orang Melayu sendiri!
Bersatu kita bersatu
Dengan setia berganding bahu
Jiwa teguh berpadu
Kita rumpun Melayu
Bersama kita bersama
Mendukung hasrat semua
Berjasa pada bangsa
Agama dan negara
Lambang kita yang gagah
Dipandang mulia dan indah
Bersatu, Bersetia, Berkhidmat
Cogankatanya
UMNO terus mara
Untuk rakyat Malaysia

Baling batu sembunyi tangan!!
these are among d reasons y i'm getting lazy to blog. too many ppl has spoilt em for ME. korang punya pikiran lantak korangla, these are my thoughts now. and there are too many wannabes. Entah-entah buang sampah masih merata-rata, kencing kat tandas pun masih bersepah-sepah. Kalau tak tell me why tandas-tandas awam kat Malaysia ni masih boleh membuatkan aku muntah? TELL ME WHY! The Penyapu Award Issue
It has been quit a controversy over this matter, some even say it's bringing bad luck.
bad luck?
BAD LUCK?
If there even is a BAD LUCK, they brought it to themselves. I mean we Selangoreans KNOW how SLOW those agencies (and adik beradiknya yg tak dapat pun broom tu) are. Dari dulu sampai sekarang.
So they say bad luck. I say 'Way to go, Datuk Seri!'. He may haf brought a lot of controvesy, but i think he's one smart man.
p/s:: Nak kena ketuk dengan penyapu dulu baru terngadah~

The selfish idiots who caused terrible trouble for many innocent people
Some people are just so... SELFISH.
If they really wanna protest, can't they do it without bothering other ppl's lives? I heard in KLFM one guy couldn't make it to the hospital when his wive is giving birth, and two LRT stations had to be shut down, and in Sg Besi hiway (where WE OURSELVES were stuck on the way to an open house like many other people) an ambulance couldn't get thru the incredibly heavy traffic (God knows who is the ill-fated patient in it) and we also had to cancel our plans to send Dilla to Puduraya when she's SUPPOSED to be BACK IN SCHOOL (MOZAC) by tomorrow or today because we're scared if anything bad would happen to her while waiting for the bus in addition to the bad traffic jam, obviously. Owh yeah, we did a u-turn after toll Sg Besi after being stuck for 1.5 hrs in the heavy jam and terlepas open house.
There, that's just the teeny-tiny little bit of those BERSIH demonstrators did to other ppl's lives.
It's just so annoying. IF YOU WANNA PROTEST DON'T BOTHER OUR LIVES!!!!
