Since i haf nuthing much to do at home and hubby is a loyal follower of the sports world, i get to watch the Asian Games 2006 Doha quite oftenly. it's very interesting cus this time it is held in a country which is firm with it's Islamic teachings and believes. selalu pun ada gak buat kat Muslim countries tapi... hmm...
Anyways my point is, this time around we could see linesWOMEN wearing tudung labuh, the officers pakai tudung sumtimes purdah, u know... sejuk mata memandang. i know i am not dat 'alim' but still it gives this warm feelings seeing that there's actually places in this world yang pentingkan perkara-perkara perkara macam ni.
the best thing was last nite, at the 200 mtrs sprint finals (women). Bahrain's Ruqaya Al Ghasara bagged the Gold Medal, after winning Bronze Medal for 100m sprint the day before. But if it not for the false start, me n hubby thought she would've bagged Gold Medal too. The point is, refer to picture, she is fully dressed as a true Muslim woman.

Anyway, I managed to catch some of the actions in the Asian Games, and I do agree with u. when u watch those women clads in long sleeve shirts, etc., it gave a whole new experience. Mata ni rase fresh. Can't help but being proud too. Our Muslim atletes should wear something like that.
Kenapa Muslims kat Malaysia tak start this stuff dulu kan? I think many of us have this perception that wearing tudung, etc actually means you are limited from involving in sport activities. mcm menyusahkan pulak kalo bersukan n pakai tudung, so some chose to lose their tudung.

by da way, i'm not athletic at all. i don't really like sports. lazybum- that's what i am!
bukan lagi tak start pakai tudung dari dulu lagi, nak gi sukan bukak tudung lagi ada hehe...
perasan tak ada sikit red thingy kat tepi tudung dia tu in this pic? dat's a Nike logo. i ngan hubby was so amazed was like 'fuyoooo tudung Nikeeeee' masa dia lari hehe dia lari dah la weird sikit sebab dia agak kengkang but she was so damn fast!!!
aha samerlaa... i wasn't dat sporty osso... i played hockey for skool team, tapi masuk padang ada la 2-3 kali je selain dari memanaskan bangku kerusi simpanan hehe but ada gak buat long jump [despite my shortness, but i was featherlite, DULU la :op~] a few times for my Rumah Temenggung [Red Devils we were muehehe] tu jelah main sukan. masa skolah rendah pernah la dapat gold medal ping pong SEKALI itupun sebab luck, ramai pull off from the competition muahahahha gila tak sporty kan!
