Bila dah sihat sikit... kita masak!!

Dapat rehat banyak semalam, hubby emailed all my lecturers informing bout my weak condition and dat i wasn't able to come to school. thanx babah.

Malam, lepas teman diorang berbuka (ke diorang yang teman aku makan?) tgk tv jap pastu bantai tido balik. letih sebab petang pegi pasar tani beli ikan, daging etc. Jazz pun banyak perangai sikit arini, orang demam maklumle... pastu malam, dah takleh tido. lepas tengok drama si Ta'in (best la pulak drama raya, Wahid Senario) dah mata takleh pejam dah. mana taknya asik tidoooo je arini. so i decided to COOK!

hajat dihati nak wat 1st attempt Caramel Pudding dah sampai... pastu sementara tunggu Caramel Pudding dikukus (takdek oven to bake alternative dia steam) rasa macam sempat plak buat Cornflakes Milo cookies for raya... tapi bila dah rasa, maybe next time i'll use less eggs for d caramel, sebab too EGGY rasa dia. But otherwise Perfect! mmmwaahhhh..! so.. niler hasilnya...

Recipe? ok..

Caramel Pudding
For Pudding
One whole can of Susu Sejat/Condensed Milk (alternative :: fresh milk)
5 tablespoons of Sugar
3 Eggs + 1 egg yolk (altered, before i used 3 eggs + 2 egg yolks)
Vanilla Essence, 2-3 drops
For Caramel
5 tablespoons of Sugar
2 tablespoons of water

How to...

Mix eggs with sugar, sugar tu masukkan little by little jagan sekaligus plak. When mixing, jangan sampai berbuih.

In other periuk, prepare caramel, by heating 5 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of water with api sederhana, when the sugar turns red then u add another tablespoon of water. Pour into loyang/any bekas u wanna put the pudding in while still panas, kalau tak dia dah melekit susah dah nak tuang.

Then prepare the milk, mix with 2 drops of Vanilla essence and heat em up, jangan sampai mendidih ya. lepas tu, while the milk still panas, mix little by little with the eggs and sugar jest now... kacau sampai rata takdek kuning kuning telur dah. Bila dah rata, pour into the bekas/loyang dat haf the cooled caramel jest now, tutup dengan aluminium foil. Kukus for 30 mins. can osso bakar but am not sure of the temperature. After 30 mins, let the pudding sejuk dulu, bukak aluminium foil a bit later. Sejukkan dalam fridge, yummy!!

esok nak try guna fresh milk, arini dah guna condensed milk.

nak resipi cornflakes milo? esoklah... ngantuk dah kol 2 dah ni. nanti nak bangun masak for sahur plak...

Update :: Cornflakes Milo

[the amount could be adjusted to your preferences]
3 tablespoons of Margerine - sukatila nak brand apa, i like Daisy/Planta, some people even like buttercup, can also
150gm of Honey
a lotta Milo [I used about 5 tablespoons]
about 100gm of Cornflakes [crushed, into smaller sizes, jagan hancur plak]
How to

Heat Margerine on api sederhana, when melted add honey. Stir till everything melts.

pour in Milo bit by bit, stir till everything well mixed up.

pour the heated ingredients onto the crushed cornflakes, mix well.

put into papercups while still hot, easy to bentukkan. if u like u can sprinkle some chocolate rice or manik urai. DONE.

caramel tu nanti, tak keras ke dia? sebab dia kalau sejuk sure keras dan beku gitu kan?

tak tak... dia lembut, macam pudding pudding lain. unless u masukkan dalam fridge la hehe...

budak2 suka sangat pudding ni, lagipun good for em milk n telur cumanya byk sugar la tapi.
