it's been quite long since i posted bout multimedia, i mean really really talk multimedia. i've been posting bout girlish stuffs dat i nearly erased the techy side of me in here. so... here i go again!! he he showing off time!!
today i had the usual RMIT-ADOM meeting, my face is so so common in d meeting, cus i've been class rep to every single class i've got into every semester. dat, is not because of other things but, i'm OLD. ELDEST in d class. other people are teenagers, i'm an adult. other people are bujang young and agile, i'm simply a makcik, well dat's even wat my lecturer calls me *rolling eyes at Eugene*. meeting went great, i've always loved going to d meeting (despite my flu and talking sengau) cus dat's where i'll haf a lot of information of multimedia industry, softwares, skills, ideas, views from the Australian lecturers who attend d meetings - sumtimes Arthur, sumtimes Nicole 1, sumtimes Nicole 2 (hehe - there are 2 Nicoles from RMIT, which i'm not certain of the spelling of their last names), jest now it was Adam Nash n Nicole 2. Like many of my batchmates, i like the way these two people think. and many many times had i came across, everytime they voice out an opinion, we will be like 'oh yeahh... y didn't i think of dat before?' for instance in my physics MTV ident, he asked me to insert another scene to enhance the pumping in d music, where a drumbeat is starting to occur. when i fixed it, the result was... i should say GREAT! yeah i really didn't think of it before. and my consultation for my Major Project with em went very well, yeah surprisingly Adam liked both my Elective and Major Project outcome. the 'Good Work' dat came twice from his mouth made me feels so confident, and gives me the hype to execute my projects.
Honestly, i've always felt some kinda... insecure, not confident, in 2d animations. cus i'm not d type who can draw well, but i believe now i haf my own style of drawing, not those beautiful looking picturesque kinda thing, but in my own special way. and receiving 'Good Work' from someone as particular about details as Adam Nash, restores my excitement in 2D animations. for instance my Major Project :: UGLY, it's gonna be a... i could say complicated piece of work compared to my MTV idents, cus i'm trying to achieve Ruth Lingford and Johnatan Hodgson kinda animation, but i'd love to give it a try. for now, i'm setting a benchmark, if i make it through Major Project this semester and next semester, make it to meet my own expectations, i could do almost ANYTHING in 2D animation! I pray to God to give me the willpower, strength of mind, and determination, dat i could go through it. just 6 more months, 6 more months to graduation, to finally become available to the industry, i haf to make sure, dat i give my BEST! Majulah Sukan Untuk Negara! muehehe~!
more showing offs :: here's a sneak preview of my 1st MTV ident - the shots are not in sequence. u wanna see the full animated version? pray dat MTV wants to show it on air.

nice stuff gurl...wow animator gurl...i wish i could spare you the nightmare of the industry but i guess its better for you to make your own footstep in the adventure:)...by the way u do 3d stuff?
yeah i heard a lot about those nightmares, especially having lecturers who actually came from d industry, every day trying to scare us about the reality of life.
i could handle 3d stuffs, in Lightwave (haven't tried to touch Maya or 3dsMax), but i'm quite slow in 3D. in fact in this MTV idents assignment i included 3D in one or two scenes, just to add some dramatic camera angles.
thanks for sharing.
