Colors Plays an Important Role in My Life

I am VERY particular about colors. Be one of my staffs, u'll be wary bila u can't susun the tudungs according to color harmony [to make them understand, I told them to susun ikut warna colour Luna, itupun many FAILS to do so!]; I will start membebel before menyusun semula tudung tudung tuh.

Alhamdulillah, dengan sejumlah wang bonus yg tidak lah terlalu banyak, I am able to start decorating our palace. 8 tahun living as a family of my won, I havent got d chance to REALLY decorate my house... honest. Sebenarnya bukan tanak, SANGAT nak. Ada attempt, but bila sikit sangat yg dapat dibuat, I gave up. It sux being a perfectionist in terms of this! Kalau nak buat biar SETTLE. Sikit sana ciput sini, TAKDEK MAKNANYA!

Dengan duit yg ada ni i finally ada sedikit budget to repaint THE WHOLE LIVING AREA of d house. Next target baru nak usik bilik... memang nakkkk sangat bilik yg menyedapkan mata, tapi takpe, Raya ni kita concentrate luar luar ni dulu... budget yg ada banyak hal lain nak disettle...

Babah dah start painting. Memangla muka dia tak berapa syok sebab kena paint sendiri [no budget upah orang.... since ada sorang je Man of d House, kenalah guna khidmat dia...] I myself kalau ada masa nak juga mengecat, macam zaman skolah skolah dulu, DOrm B tu masa anta dila dulu MASIH lagik warna yg sama... Ingat tak kawan kawan Dorm B ku sekalian? Even Dorm H... pun sama. Seronok ngecat dorm dulu kan! Tapi almaklum, balik umah pun dah pukul berapa, dah letih, iron baju pun nak kena upah orang, inikan pula nak ngecat. Saya surrender. Diluar batas kemampuan!

Kaum semut asked for war with me. Mereka telah membunyikan semboyan perang apabila membina busut after busut di umah aku masa kami kat Sabah. balik-balik dari airport aritu aku jumpa satu depan dapor. Aku spray. mampos semua.

Esoknya aku bgn pagi setelah letih malamnya tu berjalan [refer to prev post]. Huk ala ada lagi satu busut dekat tepi tempat semalam!!! Aku spray lagi. mampos semua lagi.

SEMALAM, aku memasak untuk mini open house umah mama dari malam ke pagi. open house itu ada sedikit *terpaksa* untuk menjaga relationship family yg kian goyah. sumpah aku takdek mood nak raya dengan family sini, lagipun arwah nenda baru meninggal dan terlalu banyak perkara berbangkit yang tidak menyenangkan hati. but for d sake of my mum's peacefulness, aku masak juga. lagipun anak anak balik nanti bolehlah makan kuah kacang umi dengan nasik impit... umi rindu betul dah ni. cepat sikit balik. berbalik kepada cerita asal, aku kehulu ke hilir bergegas gegas memasak, mana nak masak mana nak bukak butik, mana nak mengemas... TIBA TIBA aku ternampak satu lagi busut baru! kali ni tepi sofa depan tv! Ini sudah mendatangkan marah! grrr!

Oleh kerana masa tu aku terkejar-kejar dan malamnya dah melepek selepas basuh pinggan dan mengamuk dalam kereta masa ikut mama antar alang [ni hal family, takyah citer] aku biarkan kaum semut itu bermaharajalela malam semalam. TETAPI malam ini! Nah! Siap KAU! MATILAH KAU SEMUA! Walaupun aku penat lepas puasa, akan kupastikan kau mampus! Muahahahahhaha!

Aku tadah air.

Home Alone.

Back to the comforts of home sweet home. Alone.

Touched down sharp at 1418 hrs. Penat di Sandakan [kenduri-kendara, open house etc] belum ilang. Didn't need to wait too long for luggage as I took my own sweet time walking to Baggage Claim, pegi toilet and what nots, haha. Am sucha lone ranger, tak heran anak bongsu aku tu ikot serupa. Orang main riuh rendah hari raya dia duduk sengsorang buat kerja sendiri, sebijik macam aku [yekah?].

Lepas claiming my baggage merayap ke kedai coklat. Aku tau masing-masing menunggu coklat kat umah. Got Mein's After Eight, Lindt Swiss Thins and some Pick n Mix chocs utk diri sendiri n anak-anak bila diorang balik nanti. Lepas shopping coklat barula gi ERL terhegeh-hegeh beli tiket, turun-turun je tren sampai. Best tak timing aku? No hassle, no terlari-lari sana-sini, no rush. BEST travel sengsorang, paham?

Tapi bila dah masuk tren... sekali lagi aku mengulangi perangai aku di kapal terbang. Nanges. Aku dah start dah rindu nak cium bau anak-anak. Eeee... seminggu lagi nak survive camana neh??? Kot ya pun bz siang malam nak tido FOR SURE aku meraung sorang-sorang. Argh!

Sampai ERL Station Putrajaya pun papa dah tunggu. See, tak payah kelam kabut. Just go slow, people! Balik umah, campak bag, masuk fridge apa yg patut, JALAN. Mama punya arahan "Terus ke butik!" hmm.... Jalan la apa lagi.

Sampai butik, lagi arahan. "Lepas Mama Asar, kita jalan. Masukkan patung." Okeh... masukkan patung. Jalan ke mana pun aku belum tau. Ropanya, nak reckee branch baru di Wangsa Maju. Belum sempat unpacking dah bekerja... Kalau rezeki tak murah tataulah...!

Malam makan di KLCC. Amik kesempatan mama belanja cardigan [aku nak itam, dia suruh beli purple last last aku beli gak itam, ni penangan limkokwing lah neh], fruits n stationeries. Murah-murah bolehlah, silap aribulan amik mahal-mahal kang abeh gaji aku dipotongnya. Berjalan-jalan ditutupi dengan memakan Sundae Caramel Burger King. And now am back here. Alone. Papa ajak tido umah... tamoh. aku nak unpack dan banyak lagi keje lain nak dibuat. Termasuklah menaip blog ini dan menarah Gunung Everest [kain baju yg berlambak nak gosok/lipat].

Kejap lagi... aku akan menangis lagi.

Raya Mode Half On.

Flight to Sandakan 0805 Friday. For d sake of the kids, I will try my best to 'be in the mode' of Hari Raya. But I really hope to get a good rest during raya. I mean really good rest. Dapatkah?

Honestly I haf no mood for raya, for some obvious reasons... nenek baru meninggal, papa pulak dah tak sehat, sebuk sana sini, mengejar dunia. Akhirat? hmm...

Tapi kalau tak kejar dunia macamana nak survive? Rasulullah SAW kata biar seimbang. Tapi kadang aku tersepit dalam tugas dan tanggungjawab, terutama sekali tanggungjawab sebagai anak sulung.

Tapi menengokkan Jazzy yg bersungguh-sungguh puasa, Kyra yg baru kenal betul betul apa erti raya, it will be very unfair of me to be off mode. But then I am just human! JUST! Jazzy puasa tinggal hanya 6 hari. For a 6 years old, I am proud. Mungkin ya dia ada rasa terpaksa pada awalnya, tapi bila dah hujung-hujung ni semangat dia lebih dair kami yg dah tua ni, sampai tak bangun sahur pun menangis bila diberi susu bangun pagi before school. So ada betulnya kata abah. selagi kita tak paksa, bila dia nak pandai? I agree 100% dengan abah dalam hal ni. Sebab tulah aku mengamuk bila mama provoke dia cakap dia terpaksa puasa.

Baju tempah pun dah ambil semalam. Alhamdulillah... dalam kami rasa cukup-cukup makan ni, makan-pakai anak-anak untuk hari raya ni terjaga. Dapat spend beratus juga untuk baju baju anak. Alhamdulillah. In fact I made an appointment untuk treatment rambut Jazzy, my own nak digital perm n trim rambut kyra esok. Bertiga beranak kami nak bersuka ria di salon. SUmthing which seemed impossible before. CUma rumah je belum dapat cat... maybe ada rezeki lepas raya? Maybe... kalo tak, tak 'bukak' lah umah tahun ni :D

Ramadhan tahun ni sangat banyak dugaan... maybe itu yg membuatkan Hari Raya indah? Tadi aku hampir-hampir melanggar divider dengan speed 100kmj bila mata aku tertutup tersengguk-sengguk driving. Kalaulah aku langgar divider itu tadi, maka berulanglah peristiwa 10 tahun lepas. Tapi kali ni dengan Bibah, bukan dengan JEV 6428. Tapi alhamdulillah, Allah tidak memungkinkan itu terjadi. SO as precaution, aku berenti tepi jalan, gather my strength sebelum meneruskan perjalanan balik ke rumah. Padahal dekat je pun, bukannya jauh. Balik dari hantar Mein ke MMU tadi.

Hmm... Sebenarnya apa tujuan aku post posting ni?

What a successful event!

Letih dari open house semalam masih berbaki, but it's all worth it. Semua plan untuk hari ni terpaksa cancel, maaf kepada yang meng-invite kami ke open house mereka pulak today cus all four of us flat habes, budak-budak pun sama. mana taknya, everytime orang datang diorang naik turun tangga! [for those who's been to my house u know why lah kan]

It was my first 'Laksa' attempt and alhamdulillah everyone who came boleh telan hehe. Ala tapikan water dispenser tu buat perangai pulak tersumbat satu hal, dripping lagi. i think Azam dah fix kan semalam, tataula. Last guest left at 10.30p.m., kemas kemas, mandi mandi, Azam mop lantai, me cuci dapur, i get to finally sleep at 2.40a.m. Kata orang badan kalo dah penat tidur memang nyenyak; i think it was a very deep one, tak sedar langsung sampai ke pagi, jarang i sleep camtu.

Raya tahun ni... lain sket kot. tapi alhamdulillah lah most house yg wajib dah cover 1st n 2nd raya before kami melepek masuk spital malam raya ketiga... :p. Tu jela keje kami ni kan, keluar masuk spital...

Tak buat open house, but house is open... nak datang inform je, kami sediakan apa yang dapat, asalkan silaturrahim yang dapat kita kuatkan. maklumlah... rumah belum ready full swing sebab banyak area lain nak diperkukuhkan. financial masih belum cukup paham paham jelah. Tambah lagi dugaan banyak, jadik bab bab hias mendeco ni... masuk bab keberapa puluh penting. Tapi insya Allah... nak start dah ni. Sikit-sikit lama-lama jadik bukit, kan?

Ok ayat 'tak buat open house' dah tak valid. Me n hubby rasa we need to do one especially for those real close friends and also those houses we haf invited. Alhamdulillah rezeki ada sikit so kami buat jugak open house kecil-kecilan Saturday 18th October [sorry saper dapat SMS salah date :op maklumlah makcik dah tua]. I started cooking after Subuh today [patutnya malam tadi, tapi mampuih tak larat] sebab office tgh bz kan takut kena stayback plus Saturday morning still keje, so start today apa yg boleh...

Dah balik Keje Banyak ni je yg boleh update

Landed on bumi Semenanjung 12.45pm 26th October 2007 after being in East Malaysia for almost 2 weeks. Sampai-sampai je dihujani oleh SMS mama yang mewajibkan aku pegi open house sana sini. Alasan kerja yang terlampau banyak menanti diberi, tak berjaya. takut jadik macam 1st raya di mana mama telah merajuk kerana aku tak ikut dia dan sewaktu dengannya ke umah Along bt 9, baik aku pegi kali ni. Among yang diwajibkan semalam De Bella dan arini umah Angah Seghomban. So arini baru dapat betul2 pegang komputer ni. Dari Friday aritu yg dapat check check dan balas balas email apa yg patut.

ACE partners dah berapa kali telepon. Kalau aku jadik diorang pun aku do d same, mana tak risau, proposal project belum nampak bayang, personal profile yg kureng aritu belum diupdate... email balas sekali je despite yg diantar berbelas (literally, tak tipu). Nasib baik diorang paham keadaan aku yang tidak ada streamyx kat Sandakan, nak bukak satu email pun aku leh abeskan kopi dua cawan. Itsa wodner how I used to live with dat connection in 1998 - 2000, menemukan aku ngan hubby lak tuh. Weird.

Sudahnya sekarang aku pening... apa yg nak dibuat dulu ni... stress jugak ni. So... untuk mengupdate blog ini... sangatlah low priority,. Mintak maap lah citer raya n citer aqiqah/cukur jambul Khayra kena hold dulu. Owh btw Khayra dah pandai memanjat sana sini, as a result kepala dia penuh benjol benjolan dan bibir dia pecah pecahan. Akibat terlalu mahu anak lelaki.... haha amik kau Khayra dah sebijik cam boy. So Babah has a Junior now. Khayra-boy.

I'm hoping this Eid-Al-Adha will bring me closer to my Creator, the Creator of Earth, the Creator of Mankind, Allah Almighty. I hope I'd always be in His Grace, and I want to surrender myself to Him, for I need His blessings, and guidance, especially now when my heart is most fragile and my raging hormones are taking over my emotional state.

And I pray the Eid will bring you close to Him, too.

Ni baru betul-betul Raya~!

Everyday got guest coming, 1st day done visiting both side's graves, all aunties houses visited (cept Angah's, next week) and most cousins and aunties visited our house.

it's been a hectic Raya, but yeah more visitors means more 'rezeki', so maybe pembawakan Chimmoot and Jazz's charm brings so many guests to our house this year. eventho i hadta cook like gila everyday, but i hafto say it was a very enjoyable week. the peak was yesterday where 5 families visited our house - Azam's side (my bro on-law, my just-got-pregnant biras and her mom, Azam's aunty and family) + 2 family friends - Has and Man. 1st day raya went to Alang's house and all graves, later in d afternoon, Mama, Papa, Mein, Izz, Nenek n Ucu had lunch then Along and her whole big extended family came. 2nd raya, Alang's turn to visit our house. 3rd raya, record breaking, up till 1.30 am i still got guests in my house, my aunties - Along (again hehe, biasa la convoy), Angah, my cousin Akram and his wife + daughter Alyssa Saira. before dat, we went 'balik kampung' (so near yet still kampung) to Semenyih (Papa's side) and then convoy to Hulu Langat where my Nenek's stepmom, stepsisters n brother's houses are situated, also not to forget Nenek's cousins house in Bt. 9 (we call em Tok and Nenek Muda). 4th Raya, we went beraya to Sg. Buloh, Azam's aunty's house, then yesterday was the one i mentioned earlier. Kesimpulannya, Jazz is so very the happy dapat duit raya hehe.

But now it's time to buckle up. i couldn't touch any assignments for the whole week now i'm dead. all datelines are coming in merely two weeks. web 70% tak buat lagi. Major got about 50%. Bussiness Plan - die. Folder Design - lom abis design booklet camana nak anta print? ahhhhh...!! 2 minggu kena struggle cam orang gila la niiii!!!

Oja's Surprise B'day Party

raimy told me bout this party 1st n told me i should come, then her mom (aunty Fizah) personally called me to come. ah sure i will!!! aunty is a superb cook!! (perut mesti didahulukan muahaha).

the plan was yanna is to bring oja jalan2 n watch her 3rd Harry Porter in One Utama, until we signal her to come, meaning everyone's already @ oja's. damn, d plan works!! oja had no single clue!!she gave salam as she reaches home and only her mom, hani (sis) n haiqal(bro) answered d salam (while others, of course, tried so hard to keep d giggling down), then she stood there, looking at us in d dark, i think for 5 seconds, no one said a werd muahahaha...!! then barulaa we screamed SURPRISEEE and oja came to her senses and screamed like hell hahahha... it was so emotional actually, so good to see sumone so happy! especially when dat sumone is close to u and u care so much bout him/her. PLUS, everyone knows WOMEN LURVES SURPRISES!!!

had damn great dinner, menu was briyani batu pahat ummphhhhhh...!!! the managing director of Restoran Silarasa herself cooked it!! (used to be in One Utama, now aunty is concentrating in her other stuffs, plus some other perkara berbangkit, no more silarasa :o(! ), lauk was ayam merah, lamb, acar timun and kuah dal, and to complete, popedumss ummphhss... i had 3 rounds!! ahhaha (forget ur dream of having yanna's figure zaza!!). u guys should know this, i NEVER liked lamb, and i only took it twice before. but in dat party, i ate 3 ketul!! urghhh (now i'm suffering from d lamb-migraine la kan padan muka)and of course, for desert, aunty's ever-popular trifle... (is dat how they spell it?). after so kenyang we HAD to play musical-bantal! haiyo sakit bontot-ku!! but d best thing is, jazz had soo much fun too... he he

i've always luved going to oja's. check out my entries before bout having dinner over @ her's. i lurve to see their family, such idolic parents! i wanna be dat to my kids, u knoe, but me n azam are quite different than aunty and uncle. we're so panas baran n garang, i think, compared to thos two loving people. *sigh* i wish we'll be like dat when we're older, mellower... hmmpphh.. dat's really a good thought.

Food was.. ok lah... but wat made it awesome??! We got a damn lucky draw! Nokia 1600 handphone was d blardy prize! actually d lucky draw was from a purchase of 3 aloe gels in a single receipt, and our entry was entered by mom, she sent so many forms, dat azam actually got 2 lucky draws, but rules are rules, one winner can only win once, so he got d blardy handphone!! but if they were no rules, he could've won a laptop too! ah crazee lucky guy. no wonder i married him. do nuthing but got new handphone, in fact he has been talking bout getting another handphone for personal use and leave his fancy nokia 3230 for normal use (someone is getting sick of having anonymous people calling him i guess - duhh). we were like berebut jest now, who should use dat phone, cus mine is a li'l bit old (*wink*) and he's got a damn fancy one, so i tot of changing mine, after all, he weren't be lucky if not for my involvement wit de bella, but after comparing my phone and dat lucky one, ahhh u can have it lah abah, muehehehe...! it's features are totally less than my humble nokia 3100's only dat it's one of d latest 20 nokia phones and it has better color by pixel, and could play mp3 ringtones. dats all. phewwhh! ok. i dun wanna... u can have it. my next phone will be an upgraded version of N92 or dat blardy walkman sony ericsson muahahah!!

Me, hubby and Jazz went to pick em up @ KLIA embarking ERL (KLIA Transit). the best thing is - Jazz is very happy. and nuthing makes any mother happier. although me jazzy n azam already beraya at my parents' yesterday, we brought em to eat my mom's speacialty - laksa and sambal tumis sotong today, and many of my family were there - angah's family, along's family, of course when there's angah there's kak long n hubby (cousin) and akram, his wife and another of my niece, Alissa Saira (aka Sara/Alice), and along brought Kak Syiha along. very meriah raya, jest as i wanted. tho 1st raya i spent half d day sleeping he he (cus i didnt sleep d nite before, OK!) thanx to achik, tinggalkan kereta, very useful. now we haf 3 cars ahahahaha giler kena loteri (one more is syamsul's, azam's cousin).

i want this meriahness and happiness to last. i wouldn't wanna spoil, FOR THE RECORD!

but now am doing assignment, ye raya raya jugak, assigmment dah seminggu tak usik (except siapkan very minor 2D malam raya - previous post). everyone already sleeping, except Tasha, normalla baby he he reminds me of jazz's grumpy days, really kept us awake. and its times like this i really want another baby :X. dengar cerita diorang nak naik perlis - Ben's fiancee's house. uwaaaa cannot followww :(( but d best thingy, i might haf d car for my own usage huhuhuhuhu. and i wanna kirim, if they go padang besar. bestnyaaa i wish i can follow :((

apa?? raya??

apa? painting? ah? drawing?? apa tuhh???

konon post tadi nak painting, nak drawinggg... blah blahh!! hahaha for 3 hours i was searching, cutting, pasting photos to be framed hahaha siap satu agenda aku untuk menghias rumah untuk hari raya!!

aku puasa dengan rajin alhamdulillah, (but up to God to accept my fasting) tader terlajak terlajak mandi wajib, tader terasa nak berbuka walaupun tekak kering dan kepala nak pecah. alhamdulillah. SO I WANNA RAYA! meraikan kemenangan aku menawan nafsu. walaupun nafsu amarah tu... susah sikit nak kawal :p

hahah aku nak raya aku tak kira. assignment tolak tepi dulu. sebab tu dari sebelum puasa lagi aku dah agak perkara ini akan berlaku. lepas sahur ni (ayam dalam kuali tgh bising tu ha) nak susun bunga, lepas tu hantar achik gi komuter, pastu balik tu nak wat beskut cornflakes!!!!!!! muahahahahahahhahahahahahah. takpe, hari raya nanti kita melukis. jangan risau :p jap gi nak email mr rini, nak inform keje dia tak dan, kalo tak menunggu nanti lecturer aku tu, tak balik perak plak dia nanti :p

Hari terakhir sekolah sebelum raya...

tak best sikit raya tahun ni, assignment aku macam gunung!!

ni nak start mengemas for raya pun takdek mood. bunga bunga yang beli kat Nilai 3 haritu, tak susun lagi. frame frame belum lagi isi gamba. frame little egypt yg beli tu pun tak gantung lagi. beskut cornflake tak wat lagi. raya lagi berapa hari je... :((

achik mesti dah packing nak balik kampung. mama dah upah aunty saadiah decorate umah dia. aaaa orang lain semua dah mood nak rayaaaaaaaa bengangnyaaaaaaaa!!!

i jest woke up from beautiful sleep. had less sleep for a few days so as usual i will sleep @ odd hours. tadi, after berbuka, relax, maghrib, then bommm tidooo...!! my head was too heavy and eyes was blurry i couldnt help but sleep it off altho it was jest 7.45 pm. mesti perut makin boncit tido pas berbuka :((

had a so-so day today... everyone was bz in skool sebab dah nak cuti. masa nila semua kelam kabut, faculty macam pasar borong je tadi and me raimy n yanna leh melepak situ waiting for Mr Chee for submission, yep, it's submission day summore!! before dat, as usual kelam kabut ada yg carik envelope, gi binding, kedai ni takleh binding gi kedai lain, gi print, lab takleh print gi miso, miso takleh bind gi cyberia, gam gam kertas luar cyberia, pastu tak abih gamlagi gi faculty gam gam, tulis CIRA form... then tunggu mr chee dekat sejam he he... takpe, it's mr chee. if its not mr chee, maybe ok, but if it is eu... EUWWWW!!

earlier still, had a class wit mr muzammir who SURPRISINGLY, was very calm and content, despite the amount of werk we displayed for him. again, speak about arrognace vs kindness (refer to my previous previous previous posting). me n yanna were changing glance and discussed, dat other lecturer is clearly immature and have less experience than the others. also later on in mr rini class, altho at first i dun feel like going to his class cus i barely has progress (before, i progressed quite fast, but after video's problem, everything moves slowly!). but again i was surprised. mr rini even gave me suggestions and guidance, and i felt much relieved, going into these two classes. SUCH a relieve!! altho from his suggestions i've got a lot more todo for a submission right after raya... :(( memang takleh raya :(( including PAINTING my animatics framess.. when he gave me dat suggestion i was like... HAH!!! PAINTING??!! uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

i better start drawing.

it's only 9 days to Aidilfitri!!! Wow.. 9 days to gloriuos victory of fasting in the month of Ramadhan.

well this hari raya sure is gonna be different! First time celebrating hari raya away from my immediate family for we're goin back to my hubby's hometown in Sandakan, first celebrating hari raya as a mom with Jazzy!! this is definitely a thrill. with jazzy's noisy mouth beginning to learn shouting n screaming, it sure is gonna be fun celebrating with her around.

according to plan, we're goin to do Jazzy's aqiqah n cukur jambul on d 3rd hari raya. my lai lai (mom in law in chinese) already bought the kambing for us, she insisted on buying, it's oklah, we'll pay her as soon as we reach there. she's so generous. i think she's so excited havin everybody home this raya. all her kids, her only menantu (yeah dat's me) and her chubby only grandchild! even i'll be excited as hell when my time comes. i've already started packing, looks like jazzy's things will occupy most of our baggage. the other day we shopped for her baju, she has 10 new outfits while her parents..? only ONE pair each. i guess now we know how parents sacrifice for us huh?

well we're going to be in Sandakan for 3 weeks! i really want jazzy to enjoy her hometown. i want her to be close to both family. i wouldn't like her to be choosy, like i am. well i'm learning not to be one now, but when i was little i dislike going back to my father's hometown. as i grew up then i realised it shouldnt be that way. but we had reasons why we are not close to papa's family, one of it is even papa has cold heart towards 'em 'cept for my grandpa.

so i guess this is gonna be the last blog i type before goin back to Sandakan this 24th till 13th Dec. so Salam Aidilfitri to all Muslim's who's readin this esp for Achik n Rina
